Rulers and templates- can be used to crop photos, trace decorative shapes & letters onto paper, and cut patterned photo mats using with a crafts knife.
Pencils, pens & markers- Journaling pens and markers are available with a variety of tips. Make sure they are pigment or permanent ink, acid-free, waterproof, non-bleeding, and lightfast.
Adhesives- Use acid free double stick photo tape and stickers, glue sticks and two-way glue.
Embellishments: stickers, stamps (when stamping, be sure to use ink that won't smear or fade), punches, die cuts, and other decorative elements are available in a multitude of colors and styles. Decorative enhancements such as ribbons, buttons, and metal photo corners, and seashells.
